finPOWER Connect - Version 6.00.04 - released 16 July 2026

6.00.04 -  broader Open Banking, smarter AI, and powerful new Platform capabilities

mbsl are excited to announce that Version 6.00.04 of finPOWER Connect is now available.   This release is packed with enhancements that expand Open Bank capabilities, strengthen AI -powered insights and provides greater flexibility for integrations and lending operation.

Open Banking

Open Banking capabilities have been expanded with the addition of the Basiq Bank Account Enquiry service for Australia and Apply Referrals for Akahu Apply in New Zealand, providing more options for accessing and sharing financial data.

AI Enhancements

The AI module is now generally available, marking its transition out of Beta.  AI Record Insights has also been enhanced with tool calling (Outward Bound) for Client Accounts and Bank Transactions, along with access to the latest Bank Account and Credit Enquiries, delivering richer context and more powerful AI-assisted workflows.

Platform and Integrations

This release introduces several platform enhancements, including a new Log Category field for improved log classification and reporting, a new Custom Service for audited HTTP integrations from scripts, and general availability of the Interest in Advance module with the Beta status having being removed.
